• RN / Registered Nurse / Regional Epilepsy Center/EEG Harborview Medical Center – Regional Epilepsy Center/EEG has an outstanding opportunity for Registered Nurse . WORK SCHEDULE 100% FTE (40 hours per week), Day Shift, Mon-Fri 8H (7:30-16:00); (off holidays) The Registered Nurse for the Regional Epilepsy Center works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care for epilepsy and EEG patients. This position is often the first contact point for patients.
• Act upon and triage calls as appropriate
• Appropriately document patient care per hospital and department policies
• Effectively communicate with patients and providers medical issues/concerns
• Perform nursing assessments on patients having or have just had a seizure
• Perform necessary medical review
• Call patients with appointment discharge follow-up
