Job Summary and Qualifications The Rehab RN provides total adult and geriatric physical rehabilitation nursing care through a multi-disciplinary process resulting in the attainment of optimum quality of life for the patients.
Major
Assessment of patients initially at admission and throughout the stay. Participation in plan of care and implementation with multi-disciplinary team. Documentation of progress, goals, treatments, education throughout stay.
Deliver and document direct quality patient care specific to Rehab Standards of Care. Prioritize/achieve patient goals/needs through analysis of assessments, shift reports, diagnostic test results, and other sources of info to recognize potential/actual patient problems, and respond appropriately. Administer medications and intravenous fluids accurately and safely.
