Licensure
✓Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years’ related experience.
Qualifications
✓required.
✓Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
✓Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in a related area.
✓Minimum of four (4) years’ recent specialty experience in a minimum of one (1) of the identified specialty areas required:
✓Clinical - such as inpatient post surgical floor experience
✓Surgery, OR or pre/post operative experience
✓RQI Provider within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
✓Knowledge of professional practice standards and regulatory requirements as related to specialty care area required.
✓Knowledge and experience with electronic health records required.
✓Must function with a high degree of autonomy, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to develop and implement community education, outreach programs/workshops and seminars as defined for assigned specialty area required.
✓Possess ability to comprehensively assess patient’s psychosocial status and demonstrate an understanding of the physiological disease practice as defined for assigned specialty area(s) required.
✓Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Primary Care teams and/or multidisciplinary care teams required.
✓Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
✓Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
✓Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
✓Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
✓Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
