Provides professional nursing care at the proficient level which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with care standards, under the direction of a licensed physician or other licensed medical professional. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state.
