You’ll need
Licensure
✓Applicants should have a current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
Certifications
✓Knowledge of and involvement with accreditation and certification survey processes , including Joint Commission survey experience.
Education
✓Associate’s degree in nursing required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Qualifications
✓3–5 years of experience in stroke and/or chest pain patient care.
✓Experience in the care and treatment of heart and/or stroke patients .
✓Ongoing continuing education related to stroke and chest pain care required.
✓Leadership, Skills & Abilities
✓Demonstrated ability to lead, chair, and facilitate meetings , including comfort with public speaking and presenting to groups.
✓Outgoing, sociable, and approachable leadership style with the ability to build strong relationships.
✓Self-directed, proactive, and visionary—a true “go-getter” who can independently drive initiatives forward.
✓Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
✓Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
✓Proficient with Microsoft Office programs , data tracking and interpretation, and development of presentations.
✓Ability to analyze quality data and translate findings into actionable performance improvement strategies.
✓Proven ability to educate, mentor, and positively influence staff and providers.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and organizational policies.
