We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to advance care for patients with complex neurological conditions. As an RN caring for children with epilepsy, you'll practice within a 15-bed unit that brings together specialized patient populations, advanced technology, and a culture where nurses help shape care delivery through shared governance. You'll work alongside a dedicated nurse practitioner team that provides around-the-clock support, creating a strong interdisciplinary practice environment.

This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Weekender Flex Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week. While you are only working 36 hours a week, Cleveland Clinic will pay you for 44 hours of work and give you full-time status and benefits. This schedule allows caregivers to enjoy personal time during the week with family and friends and take care of any errands that will not interfere with a typical day shift schedule.
A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide direct nursing care to patients with epilepsy and complex medical needs. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions and responses to treatment. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families regarding care, treatment, medications, and ongoing needs.
Develop knowledge and skills in epilepsy and neurological nursing care.
