You’ll need
Certifications
✓De-Escalation Techniques (within 90 days of employment), required.
✓Life Support Responder (within 90 days of employment), required.
✓Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Training (within 90 days after completion of De-Escalation Training), required.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED, required.

Previous hospital experience, preferred.
About the role
Provide 1:1 observation and support for patients whose behaviors may pose a risk to themselves or others, ensuring safety and reporting concerns to the nursing team.
What you’ll do
Provide 11 observation and support for patients whose behaviors may pose a risk to themselves or others, ensuring safety and reporting concerns to the nursing team
Assist patients with simpleAssist patients with simple daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility as delegated by the nurse
Obtain and record vitalObtain and record vital signs and capillary blood glucose readings, notifying the nurse immediately when results fall outside normal ranges (as described in the job description)
Maintain a clean, safeMaintain a clean, safe, and clutter‑free environment while following infection‑control, body‑mechanics, and safety protocols
Document care accurately andDocument care accurately and on time, respond promptly to pages or calls, and support patient transport when needed
