Provide 1:1 observation and support for patients whose behaviors may pose a risk to themselves or others, ensuring safety and reporting concerns to the nursing team. Assist patients with simple daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility as delegated by the nurse. Obtain and record vital signs and capillary blood glucose readings, notifying the nurse immediately when results fall outside normal ranges (as described in the
). Maintain a clean, safe, and clutter‑free environment while following infection‑control, body‑mechanics, and safety protocols. Document care accurately and on time, respond promptly to pages or calls, and support patient transport when needed.
