About the role

Saint Luke’s Health System Nursing Assistant Training Program is now accepting applications from Guadalupe students for its Non-Certified Nursing Assistant positions. This is a great opportunity for students to enter into the healthcare field and provide care to patients in the hospital setting.

What you’ll do
Providing patient care underProviding patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN
Performing direct and indirectPerforming direct and indirect patient care tasks
Providing assistance with activitiesProviding assistance with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning
Anticipating the patient’s familyAnticipating the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion
Individualizing and modifying careIndividualizing and modifying care according to the patient’s needs
