The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing patient appointments to support efficient operations and a positive patient experience.
You will work closely with patients, physicians, and staff to schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient information, communicate scheduling details, and help ensure patients receive timely and coordinated care. As Scheduler, a typical day might include the following: Scheduling appointments based on physician orders and patient needs Managing scheduling work queues and In Backet messages within EPIC Verifying insurance and pre-authorizations have been obtained Communicating appointment details with patients and addressing scheduling inquiries Maintaining accurate patient information while delivering exceptional customer service to support a positive patient experience throughout the scheduling process.

Preferably at least 1 year experience in a Surgical Coordinating role in busy multiple physician practice. Bilingual in English/Spanish with medical terminology experience preferred. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.
Familiarity with office equipment such as copier, fax machines. Must demonstrate willingness to learn. Travel to partner offices may be required.
Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4PM (flexible), Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Hours subject to change based on practice’s needs.
