Responsibilities Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner. Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures. Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department.
Maintain productivity logs for department director. Qualifications Job
High school diploma or GED Preferred Job
Two (2) to three (3) years of work experience in a medical office setting Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling
