Scheduling Specialist II – JS OB-GYN Clinic

The Scheduling Specialist II supports the Jennie Stuart OB-GYN Clinic by scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments, coordinating physician referrals, updating patient demographic and insurance information, and assisting with patient inquiries. This role helps ensure patients receive accurate, timely, and friendly service throughout the scheduling process. What You Will Need High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 3 years of relevant clerical or secretarial experience in a healthcare setting with direct customer contact Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computer systems and electronic health records Key Responsibilities Schedule and reschedule patient appointments Coordinate physician referrals and specialty appointments Update patient demographics and insurance information Assist patients with scheduling-related questions Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirement
