Education
✓Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related counseling field required.
Qualifications
✓RQI Responder within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care whichever comes first.
✓Ability to analyze, intervene and evaluate a range of psychosocial theory and methods as applicable to assigned area(s).
✓De-escalation training successfully obtained within one (1) year of hire.
✓Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities.
✓Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
✓Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
✓Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess knowledge of evidence-based practice and experience in assessment, crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management preferred.
Possess knowledge of cultural, ethnic, social, historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.
