✓CPR certification required
Education
✓Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills. Successful completion of a Scrub Tech program or scrub experience required .
Qualifications
✓Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN.
✓Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Tech, preferably in the area of application. preferred
About the role
The Scrub Assistant, under the guidance of the RN provides services to surgical patients, maintaining an aseptic environment and assisting in the care of patients.
