Education

Qualifications
✓One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
✓Driver's license
✓Former Public Safety (including Law Enforcement, Corrections, Fire Service or EMS) Healthcare Security, Military or Private Business Security experience required.
✓Ability to legally drive in the State of Georgia and insurable by TMC vehicle insurance carrier.
✓Annual background checks required.
✓Ability to communicate with the public and patients in a tactful, intelligent and authoritative manner.
✓Receive acceptable performance rating on department competencies on an annual basis.
✓Ability to function independent of constant supervision and exercise physical and emotional restraint under stressful conditions.
✓Possess computer and writing skills necessary to complete incident, accident, and investigative reports.
✓Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
✓Ability to resolve problems and use independent judgment.

Work consists of general security tasks, which have a high degree of difficulty. Employee will be expected to be involved with maintaining safety and security of staff, patients and the general public. Employee will also be responsible for managing situations in which patients present volatile behavioral health characteristics.

Required Knowledge & Skills

High School Diploma or GED

One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
