Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. Manages acute behavioral events utilizing appropriate techniques. Utilizes de-escalation techniques to protect safety of patients, staff and visitors.
Responds to alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans according to policy and procedures. Actively participates in planned drills and simulations. Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises.
