You’ll need
Certifications
✓Must become certified in the use of the ASP expandable baton, handcuffing, VISTELAR and CEW (conducted energy weapon/Taser), as well as experience the effects a Taser within 6 months of hire.
✓Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
Minimum training and certification up to the level of EMR preferred.
Qualifications
✓Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, and deal effectively with individuals/groups in a health care setting.
✓A valid driver’s license and a driving record in good standing required.
✓A full set of fingerprints in accordance with Minnesota Statute 326.336 is required.
✓Hiring Bonus: To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
