✓This position requires an individual able to work under pressure with many interruptions while remaining calm and pleasant to the public and facility personnel
✓Good written and oral communications and organizational skills. Some typing and computer experience required. Effective telephone skills.
Six months’ previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
Computer skills desirable preferred

Location: Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH

Security officer means any persons whose primary duties are to protect persons or property. Security officers means non-commissioned. Security Officers are not authorized to exercise police officer powers.

Responsible for investigation of criminal offenses that occur on facility property. Enforce facility rules and regulations. EDUCATION * High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Minimum 200 hours of Police training at an Ohio Peace Training Council accredited academy. *

Six months’ previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION * OPOTA- Required Basic Security Guard Training.
