Day Shift Description: Senior Administrative Assistant - Community Hospice (Albany Office) Full Time Days Community Hospice is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated hospice team! This important role supports our mission of providing exceptional care and service to patients, families, and the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records for our Bereavement team Assisting the Bereavement team with planning/organizing our annual grief camp for children Answering and directing calls through a multi-line phone system Routing calls and messages to clinical and field staff Assisting with medical record and chart audits Utilizing various computer software programs and office systems Providing general administrative support to the hospice team Qualifications Required : High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of administrative or secretarial experience Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computer applications and data entry Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Preferred: Associate degree What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
