Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve How you'll contribute: A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role: Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Participate in quality and performance improvement activities, as assigned. Monitors employees for compliance to all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

Consults with supervisor when non-compliance is observed. Maintains open communication with co-workers and uses appropriate chain of command regarding issues. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.

Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Administers injections, vaccines and medications and other related tasks as instructed by physician.

Requests, obtains and reviews all records, test and lab results at least one day prior to the visit. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains the cleanliness of the examination areas.

Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Retrieves and returns telephone calls to patients in a timely manner and relay information provided by physicians.

Nights 3x12s – 7:00PM-7:00AM What we're looking for:

High school diploma or equivalent Required; Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent Required License: CCMA, CMA or RMA

Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire. 2 years’ experience as a Certified Medical Assistant 6 months of phlebotomy experience
