Your mission will be to build, manage, and secure the foundational infrastructure that powers identity services for millions of consumers.

Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles on AWS, primarily utilizing Terraform Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive operational tasks, and drive continuous improvement in code quality and system reliability Design and architect solutions with a focus on resiliency, scalability, availability, and security of the identity platform Implement comprehensive application alerting and monitoring (APM, Synthetics, and Infrastructure logs) to enhance application availability and performance in production Develop automation for support processes and operational tasks to proactively address and resolve technical problems Evaluate emerging technology trends and AI productivity capabilities to inform solution design and strategic innovation Analyze security threats and patterns using a variety of security and monitoring tools (e.g., AWS WAF, Re-Captcha, and specialized monitoring/alerting suites) Execute and review results for performance, resiliency, and capacity testing, collaborating with development teams to prepare and implement action items Manage patch management cadences and the delivery of operational tasks, including incidents and problem tickets Provide release management and post-deployment support, ensuring quick resolution of unexpected service problems in production Collaborate across development and operations teams to implement best practices and achieve key business objectives You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required
5+ years of professional software development experience building complex, highly scalable, and reliable software systems in a cloud-native environment 3+ years expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), with significant experience in EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, IAM, KMS, S3, etc. 3+ years of engineering experience building infrastructure using code, specifically Terraform 3+ years of experience in automation of CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Harness, including advanced Git branching models 3+ years of experience with one or more programming languages: Java, Go, Python, Shell Scripting, or JavaScript 2+ years of experience utilizing monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Kibana, Splunk, or OpenSearch
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field or equivalent experience Experience with Docker containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes Knowledge of Helm, Sonar, and Artifactory Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL or DynamoDB Proven ability to leverage modern productivity tools to enhance technical delivery and individual work quality Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment All resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
