Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist

✓Requirements
Certifications
Lean for Healthcare or Lean Six Sigma certification or comparable experience preferred.
Education
✓A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Nursing, or other professional healthcare discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
A Master’s degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓What’s Required
✓Three or more years of experience including project leadership experience is required with a demonstrated record of achieving and sustaining favorable results.
✓Demonstrated expertise using a wide range of performance improvement tools and methodologies, including Lean, is required.
✓Must have excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and project management skills.
✓Must have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate and interact effectively with employees from all areas of the organization.
✓Must have the ability to evaluate and discuss defects and errors in an objective and non-threatening manner.
✓Demonstrated ability using complex data for decision-making is required. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products and desktop software is required.
✓Must have strong written, oral, visual and presentation skills to articulate the philosophy of Continuous Improvement as well as on-going project status information.
✓Experience providing education/training and coaching in the use of performance improvement tools and techniques required.
✓Will work with leaders as a change agent to drive transformation and assist with change management.
Clinical experience in nursing, medicine, pharmacy or allied health profession is valued. preferred
Familiarity with Clinical EHRs is beneficial. preferred

Continuous Improvement Specialist draws upon the deep knowledge and experience of Lean for Healthcare and other improvement methodologies in accomplishing assignments.
