Qualifications
✓Ten years' experience in Philanthropy or related field.
✓Five years’ experience successfully managing employees to achieve program goals.
✓Excellent written and oral communication skills. ; Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills required.
✓Ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically with senior leadership from across the RUSH System.
✓Ability to effectively lead a multi-faceted stewardship program that addresses the needs of a variety of constituencies.
✓Ability to think strategically about audiences and plan stewardship activities to meet needs. Ability to adjust and enhance stewardship activities to recognize public phase campaign gifts.
✓Ability to conceive and manage projects from inception to delivery, including tracking and reporting on progress and results.
✓Ability to lead the development of annual budgets and manage projects within the budget framework. Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and problem solve challenges.
✓Ability to articulate RUSH’s mission and the campaign vision to a variety of constituencies with poise and diplomacy.
Strong understanding of accounting, finance and balance sheets preferred.
Experience working with senior leaders (CEOs, presidents, provosts, deans, senior vice presidents) preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of major gift and annual giving fundraising cycles preferred.
