Certifications
✓Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
Education
✓Master’s degree in Nursing or related discipline.
Qualifications

✓1. Minimum of 8 years of progressive and directly relevant experience in the field of specialty.
✓2. Minimum of five years of nursing leadership experience within a hospital setting.
✓3. Proven leadership ability to motivate and lead staff.
✓4. Knowledge of Healthcare accounting techniques, cost/benefit comparisons, analysis of budget variances and staffing resources.
✓5. Ability to plan, organize, and evaluate programs and analyze fiscal data.
✓6. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
✓7. Working knowledge of computers, including spreadsheet and word processing software
✓Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
