Senior General Accounting Manager

Certifications
CPA certification. preferred
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

Qualifications
✓Ten or more years of progressive accounting experience.
✓Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
✓Word, and PowerPoint, as well as enterprise resource planning systems and other
✓desktop and web-based tools.
✓Extensive knowledge of financial transaction systems, accounting policies
✓accounting principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
✓Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
✓Familiarity with fund accounting, gifts, grants, and endowments.
✓Ability to research and recommend accounting treatments for financial
✓transactions and related accounting analyses.
✓Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to direct staff
✓delegate responsibilities, establish priorities, and support departmental
✓goals.
✓Strong critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving
✓skills with the ability to address complex financial and operational issues.
✓Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal
✓skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational
