Certifications
✓HFMA- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative
Education
✓Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or Business Administration, Finance, or related field OR 8 years of experience in healthcare finance
M.S degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, MBA, MHA or related field preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare/revenue cycle analyst role or 7 years of experience within CoxHealth Revenue Integrity.
✓Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively present and interact with all levels of the organization.
✓Ability to work collaboratively as either a facilitator or participant on projects that involve multiple stakeholders, while promoting positive and effective working relations.
✓Ability to inform and educate others, including training of new staff, on procedures and concepts.
✓Ability to write effective summary level documentation for clear and concise communication of data analyzed.
✓Ability to create, implement and optimize stakeholder reporting.
✓Highly proficient in all aspects of MS Office.
✓Highly proficient in Excel with ability to create, modify and trouble-shoot spreadsheets for data analytics.
✓Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze complex data, processes and functions of technology.
✓Highly productive in a self-directed manner with ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status efficiently, and demonstrate defensible judgement in making independent decisions.
✓Effective time management and prioritization skills to permit handling of a large workload across multiple projects and multiple departments.
