Required
5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and/or data engineering roles 3+ years of experience with C# and . NET Framework / . NET Core for backend application development 3+ years of experience with relational databases, T-SQL, query optimization, and database design 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, Blob Storage) or AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, OR 4+ years of equivalent software engineering experience Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) Experience working with Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks) Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Demonstrated experience with data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines Practical experience researching, developing, or deploying machine learning/AI models into production systems *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
