S. News & World Report. Performs a variety of technical duties to scrub in surgery.
Prepares operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques. Provides technical services and assists in operating room as assigned and directed. Serves as a resource along with the RN Specialty Coordinator for at least one surgical specialty.

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 5 years of Scrub experience.
