Shift Officer - Security

• Security Officers work to provide a safe and secure environment for occupants of Aultman facilities and grounds. Security Officers are expected to proactively patrol and monitor Aultman facilities and grounds for the purposes of detecting, deterring, and preventing criminal activity, as well as identifying and mitigating safety concerns as appropriate. Qualifications Minimum Education/Experience High School diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with less than 4 points Desired Qualifications Graduate of Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy or equivalent preferred Prior or current military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred Associates Degree (or greater) in criminal justice, emergency management, or other related field preferred Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle a wide variety of circumstances and conditions Working Conditions Must be able to wear ballistic vest with plates Hazardous Exposure Category Category II - Includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing unplanned Category I tasks. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues by exposure or potential exposure may be required as a condition of employment.
