With supervision and/or consultation with a clinical social worker or social work team, the social work assistant provides social work services to the Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients/families/staff in the Yale-New Haven Hospital network.

Accountability 3.1 Accountable for following hospital/department policy and procedures, NASW code of ethics and any other Hospital governmental and/or regulatory policies, rules or regulations. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Social Work. EXPERIENCE Minimum of two field placements from an accredited School of Social Work in an appropriate clinical setting.
LICENSURE Not applicable. SPECIAL SKILLS Provide social work services in a health care setting. Computer experience and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and data entry systems.
