Qualifications
✓At least 3 years of experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients
✓Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment)
✓Fieldwork or previous experience in a psychiatric setting using evidence-based treatments.
✓Knowledge base of bio-psychosocial model, DSM-V diagnoses, criteria for treatment of different diagnoses, behavioral risk factors and of the impact of mental illness upon individual and family functioning
✓Knowledge base of community and discharge planning resources and processes
✓Experience using an electronic medical record
3 to 5 years of experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients preferred
Experience with eating disorders or commitment to working with this population preferred
Training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders (e.g., CBT-E, CBT-AR, FBT) preferred
Competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and treatment techniques appropriate to outpatient treatment setting preferred
