Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to: Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images Maintain statistical results for quality improvement Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results Qualifications A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-accredited program Valid ARDMS
