✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen and OB/GYN (ARDMS AB OB) required.
✓Current state license in Sonography is required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon.
Certifications
✓The Sonographer may start with either AB or OB certification, and has one year to obtain the other.
✓BLS/CPR Certification: American Heart Association, Health Care provider level BLS and AED Certification required.
ARDMS Breast certification preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of accredited (by AMA or ARDMS) school of ultrasound or equivalent experience is required.
Qualifications
✓If proof of registration is not received within one year of assuming the Sonographer job, the position will be vacated by the incumbent.
