You’ll need
Licensure
✓Cosmetology, Nail Technician, or Advanced Practice Esthetic license from the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners (BCE).
Certifications
✓Certification from a state approved school of Cosmetology.
Education
✓High school diploma is required.
Qualifications
✓Must be adaptive to a changing work environment, as well as an evolving product and service line-up.
✓Must be flexible, demonstrate good organizational skills and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✓Artistic and design skills are required.
✓Patience, sensitivity, and confidentiality are essential.
✓Must be able to operate equipment specific to the assigned work unit, telephone system, copier cash register, credit card system, and have basic technology skills to allow efficient navigation of scheduling systems.
Two years’ experience performing services as a licensed Cosmetologist, Nail Technician or Advanced Practice Esthetician preferred.
Post-secondary education is preferred.

The Spa Professional performs professional nail and/or aesthetic services. Must possess a thorough knowledge of nail and/or aesthetic theory. Demonstrates excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills.
