✓High school diploma or GED certification.
✓Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through the International Association of Health Care Central Service Material Management or other certification boards.
✓Formal LEAN training is required within 6 months of employment.
✓One of these must be obtained within 12 months of hire as a condition of employment.
Advanced Certifications: Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL), or Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS). preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 5 years in the Sterile Processing field.
✓Minimum of 2 years of educator, quality, or supervisory responsibility within the sterile processing field.
✓Strong working knowledge of principles and practices of sterile processing field.
✓Must demonstrate expert knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, inventory management, and case cart management.
✓Proficient oral and written (English language) communication skills required in order to fulfill documentation and presenting requirements associated with the position.
✓Computer and Microsoft office proficient.
✓Excellent interpersonal skills.
