Your Role on the Team We are recruiting a fulltime board certified/board eligible surgeon with experience in emergency general surgery/general surgery. Candidates with subspecialty specific surgical fellowships are welcome to apply. Primary responsibilities of this position include covering emergency general surgery and developing an elective surgical practice at the UCI Health community clinical sites. The ideal candidate will be motivated to grow a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians, specialty surgeons, and other providers across the UCI Health system. Benefits-eligible base salary compensation based on AAMC benchmarks for community emergency general surgery is $460,000 - $540,000. In addition, candidates have the potential to earn additional compensation with incentive eligibility on top of the base salary contingent on performance.
