✓New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (issued by DOH/Office of Professions) or Restricted Technologist License in Histocompatibility required
Certifications
o ASCP certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology). preferred
o ASHI Certified Histocompatibility Technologist (CHT) or Certified Histocompatibility Specialist (CHS). preferred
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field, meeting NYS Department of Health (DOH) technologist standards.
Qualifications
✓New graduates with strong laboratory skills are encouraged to apply.
0–1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in Histocompatibility, Immunology, or Transplantation Laboratory. preferred
