✓National certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Education
✓High School or GED Required.
Qualifications
✓Registered in the state of Rhode Island as a Pharmacy Technician.
✓Knowledge of specialty pharmacy reimbursement: state, federal and commercial.
✓Knowledge of computerized information systems.
✓Ability to maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
✓Ability to analyze information.
✓Good judgment and strong verbal communications, including strong phone skills.
✓Highly productive and quality focused.
✓Exceptional attention to detail.
✓Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
✓Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with branch departments.
Minimum 1 to 3 Years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; 5+ years of experience preferred.
Highly computer proficient (knowledge of EPIC, CoverMyMeds, McKesson, INMAR systems a plus). preferred
