Education
✓Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology required
Qualifications
✓Speech pathology experience 2-3 years required and Acute hospital experience 2-3 years preferred
✓Familiarity with diagnostic assessments for speech-language.
✓Employee must have strong interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to incorporate new clinical procedures sufficiently to perform clinical services independently.
✓Ability to perform functions associated with contemporary audiology and speech-language pathology scope of practice.
✓Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
✓Knowledge of state standards, federal and state regulations.

About the role

Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders.

What you’ll do
Provide guidance and mentorshipProvide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals
Conduct comprehensive assessments toConduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients
Develop and implement individualizedDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
Provide therapy to patientsProvide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders
Monitor patient progress andMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
