✓Speech-Language Pathologist License (Washington) required at hire
Certifications
✓Meet continuing education, certification and training requirements.
✓Basic Life Support required at hire
Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Certification obtained shortly after date of hire/transfer. preferred
Education
✓Masters degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
✓Minimum nine (9) months experience as a clinical speech-language pathologist. Paid clinical speech-language pathologist fellowship experience may be considered towards the experience requirement.
✓Clinical competence for age(s), populations, and disorders based on job site location that may include; autism spectrum disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, feeding aversion, adult neurogenic disorder, dysphagia, speech, language, fluency, voice, and cognitive-communication.
✓Must be proficient with computers including Word, Excel, Epic, SonaSpeech.
✓Completed Clinical Fellowship.
Five (5) years of clinical experience. preferred
Expert level of competence with skills that include specialty training in FEES, videofluoroscopy, videostroboscopy preferred
American Sign Language, PROMPT, and accent modification. preferred
