You’ll need
Licensure
✓Actively identify and participate in training, education, development activities, and/or supervise speech therapy students or speech fellows to improve their own knowledge and performance including acquiring the CEUs needed to maintain state licensure in the State of Missouri.
✓Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-P) licensure by the Missouri Commission for Speech-Language Pathologists.
Certifications
✓Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) certification from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
✓Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
Qualifications
✓SLP program graduates must obtain CCC within 2 years of employment as a condition of continued employment.
