Organization: PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD Position Overview: Make a meaningful impact by helping individuals improve their communication, cognition, and quality of life. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders across a variety of clinical settings.
Through compassionate care, clinical expertise, and effective collaboration, you will build trusted relationships with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, provide education and support to patients and their families, and advocate for effective communication and safe swallowing practices.
You will maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and standards, ensuring the highest levels of patient safety, privacy, and quality of care. Additionally, you will support the professional development of future clinicians by providing clinical supervision to speech-language pathology assistants and aides and serving as a clinical instructor for students as assigned.

Master's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program CERTIFICATION &
SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider TYPICAL
5 years recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently. Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements. Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirement.
Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies. Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities. Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
