Boulder Community Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist who assumes responsibility and accountability for providing quality care to patients with disorders affecting language, speech, cognition and/or swallowing functions.

- Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from a training program or Certificate of Clinical Competency as required and verified by state SLP registration.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology is required, CCC-eligible, or able to meet the requirements for Clinical fellowship year with appropriate supervision by a qualified clinical fellowship supervisor by date of hire.
- Current Colorado state license for SLP is required.
- Current ASHA Certified member preferred.
- BLS certification required by the end of conditional period.
- Acute Care experience required

- Reports and documents evaluations, plans, treatment techniques, assessment and patient progress.

- Functions as an advocate for the patient within the rehabilitation system. Identifies patient/family goals and incorporates this feedback into the overall plan of care.
- Participates in achievement of department and hospital goals.
- Evaluates own performance with established criteria and sets goals for improvement.
