✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Must have a current license to practice speech/language pathology in the State of Arkansas.
✓They must obtain 12 hours of continuing professional education (CPE’s) to maintain state licensure and current professional knowledge and techniques.
Certifications
✓Must meet all standards required by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and obtained the certificate of clinical competence.
✓Must be able to perform job duties of a certified speech/language pathologist and those general duties specific to the Rehabilitative Services Department.
Education
✓A minimum of a master’s degree in speech/language pathology from an accredited institution offering training in this specialty.
Qualifications
✓The speech/language pathologist must have 375 hours of supervised clinical experience and 9 months of post-graduate professional experience (completion of clinical fellowship year).
✓Must be able to function in a professional manner with minimal direct supervision.
✓Safety Sensitive: NO
