✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Must hold or be eligible to receive an Speech‐Language Pathologist license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment or hold a license as a Clinical Fellow in his/her Clinical Fellowship Year.
✓Clinical Fellow (CFY) must be mentored by a Stated Licensed and ASHA certified SLP in the state where services will be provided and employed by Parkview Health.
✓If employee is a CFY, she/he must obtain state licensure within 18 months of initiation of the CFY.
✓Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to the expiration date.
Certifications
✓Must hold Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech‐Language Hearing Association (ASHA) if not in their CFY.
✓Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓Must hold at a minimum a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a school accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech‐Language Pathology (CAA).
✓Work experience preferred, but not required, other than clinical experience within educational training program.
Qualifications
✓Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, may be required to push up to 300 pounds. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
