You’ll need
Licensure
✓MDiv or other Master's degree in theology or proof of board eligibility by Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or its strategic partners (NAJC, NACC, CASC/ACSS).
Certifications
✓Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education in a program credentialed by ACPE.
Qualifications
✓PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs
Ordination, license or endorsement by an acknowledged ecclesiastical body or specialized spiritual/philosophical/religious group preferred.
0-33% of the work day (occasionally) preferred
11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently) preferred
01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly) preferred
Lifting 50 lbs max preferred
Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs preferred
Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. preferred

About the role
Primary duties and responsibilities: Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team providing spiritual care to patients and families in medical specialties where chronic illness and pain are evident such as Winship Cancer, Palliative Care, Staff Support, Critical Care and Brain Health. Participates in research agenda.
