Licensure
✓Nurse Clinician I (NCI)`s entry level knowledge base has been validated by successful completion of NCLEX requirements for professional nurse licensure.
✓Registered Nurse: Registered Nurse License to practice in the State of Texas.
✓» RN license from the state of Texas before beginning employment
✓Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas. (MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE AND PASS NCLEX NO LATER THAN 03/05/2027)
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
✓Other certificates as required by unit/service.
✓Must be adequate to meet the following communication requirements:
✓Accurately interprets and transmits clinical information in English, both verbally and in written form
✓and Sends and receives messages patients/families/SOs can comprehend.
✓» Basic life support certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross- -must be valid for 6 months or more upon hire
Education
✓Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
✓Associates Degree in Nursing
BSN preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. preferred

✓Must be a graduate nurse with less than one (1) year of experience.
