As a Sr Actuarial Analyst within UHG's Medicare & Retirement (M&R) line of business, you will face a number of diverse challenges in the actuarial space including data analysis, modeling in Excel and SAS, and other analytics in support of the Part D products.

You will work on complex actuarial projects that have strategic importance to our mission of helping people lead healthier lives and helping to make the health system work better for everyone. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U. S. as you take on some tough challenges.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D. C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary

Build models to support Part D pricing and forecasting Collaborate with internal teams to develop assumptions for Part D pricing Support ad hoc studies that inform and strengthen pricing strategies Contribute to the Part D bid submission process You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Must be on actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams 2+ years of actuarial experience Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS

Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills Proven solid collaboration and team skills Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights Beginner of higher level of proficiency with Snowflake *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
