Certification in Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Clinical Data Management, Health Informatics, or related discipline preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
Education
✓Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
Qualifications
✓Field of study: Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field.
✓Minimum 3 to 5 Years of experience in healthcare data analysis, quality improvement, patient safety, clinical informatics, performance improvement, or a related healthcare setting.
✓Knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, performance improvement and patient safety methodologies, continuous improvement, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
✓Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and healthcare databases required.
✓Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
✓Statistical analysis and data interpretation skills.
✓Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
✓Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
✓Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and healthcare data confidentiality standards.
Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, SAS, SPSS, R, Minitab, SQL, or similar data analysis and visualization tools preferred.
Experience supporting hospital quality improvement, patient safety, accreditation, and regulatory compliance activities preferred.
Experience with CMS, Joint Commission, NHSN, Leapfrog, or other healthcare quality reporting programs preferred.
Project management and change management experience preferred.
