Certifications
✓CPR training obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained annually.
Education
✓Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy and on an independent licensing track with the RI Department of Health
Qualifications
✓At least 1-year of experience working with targeted population in a mental health setting
✓Analytical skills necessary to evaluate patients’ mental health needs and to formulate and implement a treatment plan
✓Knowledge of adolescent development and family systems issues.
✓Advocacy and teaching skills.
✓Valid driver's license and use of car during normal working hours or other means of transportation in order to perform the major functions of the job.
✓Automobile liability insurance coverage for vehicle being used in accordance with Center requirements.
✓Ability to work collaboratively as a team to coordinate care for youth and young adults with intensive needs.
